Autumn Hope Kirby is the Founder and Creative Director of Always, A., a jewelry brand inspired by the romance, individuality, and enduring spirit of New York City. Unlike many designers, Autumn didn't grow up dreaming of a career in jewelry. She discovered the industry unexpectedly after college and quickly fell in love with the artistry, craftsmanship, and storytelling behind every piece.
Over the last five years, she has worked alongside designers, manufacturers, artisans, and showrooms throughout New York and across the United States, gaining a hands-on education that could never be taught in a classroom. Much of her knowledge was built on the streets of Manhattan, running between workshops in the Diamond District, reviewing prototypes, solving production challenges, and seeing pieces through every stage of creation.
Through years of curiosity, persistence, and plenty of trial and error, she developed a deep understanding of both the technical and creative sides of jewelry making. The idea for Always, A. grew from a personal truth: jewelry has always helped Autumn reconnect with herself. On difficult days, putting on her favorite pieces instantly reminds her who she is; creative, confident, expressive, and unapologetically unique.
What began as adornment became armor; a small but powerful reminder of identity. That belief remains at the heart of Always, A.
