This all started with a seasonal part time job in Knoxville, TN. I took a position at a well known jewelry store to give myself a breath of fresh air from my early mornings as a visual merchandiser. After just a few weeks… I was obsessed with the jewelry industry. Although I still dreamt my life in a very different way than where I am now. Funnily enough, my boss at the time almost didn’t hire me because I wore no jewelry to my interview (this is hysterical looking back). I stayed with this company, until I found the courage and flipped my life upside down. I had finally made my dreams of moving to New York come true. It was not easy and to sum it up, I had a job offer that fell through as I was moving, I was couch-surfing with my best friend and I didn’t know what my next move would be or if I had just made a huge mistake. I hastily took a job with a small jewelry consulting company with every intention to leave for the apparel industry the moment I had the chance. Little did I know I would fall in love with jewelry design and even deeper in love with New York. After some growing pains, transitions and dreaming it became vastly clear to me what my next venture had to be.
Here it is, with passion and heart. My love story. New York and Fine Jewelry.
